Anxiety Awareness
6 Week Course

Anxiety can affect us in different ways, feelings of anxiety can be temporary; short-lived and mild with clear identifiable causes. People are all different and may experience more anxiety than others. There are times we all feel anxious, sitting an exam; taking a driving test; having a job interview and it is normal to feel anxious in these circumstances but if anxiety is taking over your life it is time to address it, on the course we will week by week breakdown anxiety and find ways to cope:

Week 1 -  Understanding how anxiety develops
Week 2 -  Recognising signs and symptoms
Week 3 -  Support from the Group – time to talk about anxiety from our own perspective
Week 4  - Neuroscience – Providing evidence to demonstrate how anxiety can be managed
Week 5 - Tools and skills to cope
Week 6 - Moving forward – to a better you

Mindfullness & Meditation
6 Week Course

 Mindfulness is a way of being and it’s essence is about attention and awareness the key component being practice. We will explore the benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. Demonstrating the many benefits which have been shown to exert a powerful influence on health, well-being and happiness…

Jon Kabat-Zinn Founder of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MSBR) University of Massachusetts defines mindfulness as:
“The awareness that comes from paying attention in the present moment and non-judgementally”
